Anne and Andy made wedding planning so easy and fun! The Savoy brings an effortless charm and elegance as well as some very impressive included decorations and amenities.
If there were a way to give this place 10 stars out of 5, I would! Anne and Andy are a joy to work with - they really do work to build a relationship with their clients and to go a...
bove and beyond for them. I chose not to hire a wedding coordinator for our wedding, but between Anne and the DJ day of and my wonderful bridesmaids, I didn't need one! Anne took the time to really walk me through plans, contingency plans (which did have to be used due to weather and the wedding still was PERFECT), vendor options in the area, and helped with difficult vendors and finding additional vendor options that weren't on her original list as well. She allowed us to use decorations that she had available at the venue at no additional charge, she had tablecloths for us to rent, and the bar was amazing. We even made a last minute request to see if they could get a bottle of Becherovka to make the Be-ton drink as the groom's signature drink, and I'm pretty sure Andy searched until he found the very last bottle in the state of Missouri. The Savoy is worth every penny and more because it's not just a location to have your wedding at, it's a place where you can have peace of mind and watch your vision come to life. Thank you for everything, Anne and Andy!
The Savoy was the perfect place for our wedding. It is very classy and so beautiful. The courtyard is beautiful for an outdoor ceremony. If the weather doesn't cooperate for an out...
door ceremony, moving inside does not disappoint. Out of all the places we visited for our wedding venue, the Savoy stood far above them all. Anne and Andy were excellent from the first day we met them. Every email and text were answered quickly. I knew I could call and visit them any time. Out of all our wedding vendors, they made everything involved with the Savoy worry free. Anne and Andy helped with every detail we needed from them. The day of our wedding they were there for set up, all through the ceremony and reception......and even helped us clean up!! By the time our wedding was over, we felt like we had two new friends. We never worried about anything at the Savoy. They are very professional, yet completely approachable and comfortable. Their staff is amazing and they all worked well with our DJ and caterer. We had a little glitch with the DJ sound system. Anne and Andy helped fix the issue and the party went on! We are so happy that we chose the Savoy for our wedding. Our guests thought it was the most beautiful venue they have been to locally. The Savoy is well worth a visit when deciding where to celebrate one of the biggest moments in your life.
BEST. VENUE. EVER!!!
Okay, when I say this place is amazing let me tell you why you HAVE to book your event here. First of all, it's beautiful on the inside and in their outdoor ar...
eas. It's clean and well kept. The staff is amazing and are so kind and hard working. They helped us run things so smoothly with the guests arriving and setting up things. The owners are such a joy to work with and are so accommodating with things like furniture to set up to floor plans and budget, and so helpful if you need a list of vendors to work with for your big day or event. We had our wedding here in March. It was so perfect in every way. We had so much fun and this will forever be a place that we will have such sweet memories to hold because of how well they took care of us and our event. Excellent, Excellent service and outstanding place. Whether you're from Missouri or not, this is a perfect place to book. We came from California to have our wedding here. I'm originally from here so I was so amazed of the price and the amenities it came with and the seemless communication between us and the owners from cross country. It went perfectly. Thank you so much to all who helped us, and thank you to the owners who made our perfect day even more perfect than we could have imagined!
The Savoy was a fantastic place to have our wedding reception! I've always loved the ambience there and have always pictured my wedding reception there and it did not disappoint. ...
Anne was so fantastic to work with! The Savoy will be at the top of my list as a venue to host any kind of get together!
The second we laid eyes on the Savoy Ballroom we knew it was the place for us to become husband and wife. Nestled on Springfield’s historic Commercial Street, we were awestruck by ...
the crystal chandeliers, the hardwood floors, and the gorgeous tin ceiling. But the display windows from when the building was a department store truly took our breath away – mirrored, and the perfect place to hold some of the Savoy’s gorgeous furniture for gifts (including an historic church pew), welcome bags, and our cake. The ballroom was exactly what we picture for our 1920s vision. Anne and Andy’s eclectic collection of décor that is available for use took brought our vision to life – mixing Gatsby with Beauty and the Beast with the use of a plethora of votive holders and the most stunning candelabras I have ever seen. All of this, combined with the modern bathrooms and well-equipped HVAC, would have been enough. But then we saw the courtyard.
The outside is simple, elegant, and perfect for any ceremony. The pergola covered in our flowers transported us to a ceremony that was a dream come true. The bridal suite set up was perfect for us, and made our day so much easier to have everything all in one place. Anne and Andy have everything you need to make this your dream event. They did for us.
If this reads like a love letter to this venue, it’s because it is.

Got married in the courtyard of the Savoy in early September. Everything was perfect. Historic C Street really is a magical wedding backdrop and Anne and Andy were amazing hosts! ...
Definitely recommend using the Savoy. There is also a great restaurant next door Cafe Cusco that is perfect for your rehearsal dinner and can cater receptions as well.
The savoy was a gorgeous venue for our wedding. They were so professional and helpful, we had no idea what we were doing. It all turned out so great and I wouldn’t change a thing. ...
Pricing was also very nice and straightforward. We also took dance lessons and had so much fun and confidence on our big day.

and, and we never felt nickel-and-dimed or confused about what was included. We wanted an indoor ceremony (which turned out to be the right decision since it was over 90 degrees on our wedding day!) and Anne and Andy made our vision come to life, my guests didn't have to lift a finger to move chairs around. We didn't have to spend much on decorations because the Savoy is so beautiful on its own. I can't recommend the Savoy enough!

The venue is beautiful!! You are very limited to things though. There is no place to get ready as bride and groom so planning pictures was really hard for us. Also, the price for a...
half day is about the same as a full day anywhere else in the area. Take my advice, a half day is NOT enough time. I felt rushed the whole time. Also, when you have a bar you pay $225 for the bartenders and if you host, 25% of you hosted bar tab goes to the bartenders too. I use to do catering and I WISH our company paid us like that! It was the best day of my life!!! The husband and wife that own it are friendly; they even gave us a nice gift at the end :)

r of love that truly compliments any wedding style. Our wedding wouldn't have been so stress free without them. We absolutely loved the indoor/outdoor options, as did our guests. I would recommend them to anyone looking for a venue!

The Savoy is wonderful! Anne was so incredibly helpful every step of the way. Our reception was perfect and beautiful!
Had so much fun and Anne and Andy even helped set up a special surprise for your wedding guest with a flash mob.
My reception was at the Savoy and it was beyond what I ever could have imagined. Anne and Andy took care of me and made my day absolutely perfect. I wanted to write this review to ...
brag on the dance lessons they offer.
Andy met with both me and my dad and me and my fiance multiple times to get us prepared for our dances on the big day. Andy was kind, easy to understand, and made something that makes some people uncomfortable, completely fun! He even let us stay a bit longer than our schedules time to keep practicing! I couldn't imagine learning from anyone else. If you have zero experience dancing or years of experience, this is the person you want teaching you!
Our wedding took place in mid-September. We used the outdoors courtyard as the ceremony venue and the ballroom for the reception. The courtyard was absolutely breathtaking. There w...
as a great breeze, little to no noise from the street, and the temperature was perfect for our guests. We did not require a microphone for our officiant and the space felt so perfectly intimate. Anne, the owner, worked with us to make arrangements for set up and rehearsals and provided linens, iced tea, and coffee. It was the perfect setting for our day.
Anne and Andy are super friendly and helpful, not just on the day of the wedding but throughout the entire process; any question I had from January to July was answered promptly. T...
he venue itself is beautiful, making it that much easier to decorate. From the bar to the garden, to the staff and the way they work with outside vendors having the reception at the Savoy was easily one of the best decisions we made when planning our wedding reception.

is also a great location in downtown Springfield. I cannot express enough how much we enjoyed working with the Savoy owners and staff. Every step of the planning process with them was easy, comfortable, and fun. I felt so calm and confident in our decisions after each meeting with them. The owners were extremely accommodating and flexible and our reception turned out better than I ever could have imagined. I would highly recommend using the Savoy for a wedding ceremony/reception venue.

me we met them until the end of our reception. They helped us with everything we needed and were even there on the wedding night to help with everything even serving champagne for our toasts. If you're looking for a beautiful venue to have your ceremony and reception with wonderful owners willing to help every step of the way I would definitely recommend Savoy Ballroom, the made our wedding truly perfect and a night I'll never forget.

entire process of choosing a location, to popping in from time to time just to look at the venue and brainstorm ideas for the big day, to the day of, we were so supported by the staff! They were available for questions and were flexible with ideas we had for our wedding along the way. This is a great venue for outdoor/indoor weddings as well as small and large guest lists. The audio system they have is amazing and having a June wedding was no issue heat wise with their great cooling system (something you have to think about in the summer!) Overall, it is a beautiful venue with wonderful people behind it. I couldn't encourage you more to check out the Savoy if you are looking to get married in Springfield, MO!
My reception was at the Savoy Ballroom. I can't explain how beautiful of a venue it is! It feels like it takes you back in time a bit and has a classy, nostalgic atmosphere.
